NDrive is the almost complete turn-by-turn, voice guided navigation software that converts your iPhone 3G and 3GS to complete GPS device. NDrive works like a charm !!! at least in my city (Ndrive India and per developer NDrive India covers 70% of India).
Using NDrive is quite straightforward just type the location address keyword or use POI, NDrive will find it for you. When it comes to calculate these routes, NDrive search engine wins. Yours routes will be calculated in secs. From there, NDrive’s Voice instruction will guide ya to reach your destination. If you think that the current route is long or looking for another route to reach your destination it is possible, NDrive will find an alternative route for you.
It generates neat graphics that allow you to interact easily with the map during navigation. Zoom, Pan and retrieve information, all at video quality speeds. It also simulates the routes, this certainly helps when you are on riding bike alone without any mounting tool.
Another thing that impressed me most is POI i.e Points of Interest. POI’s is nothing but it organises Restaurants, Shopping, Health, Government Offices and so on. All you need to tap on any of those categories: say you tap on Restaurants: It will show all restaurants that are in your city, Like wise you can explore other POI categories, Isn’t that perfect !!If your location is not in maps, you can bookmark that particular location and that location will be saved on your map. Though bookmarking current location is not an easy at least for a rookie, also there are no options to add locations to add existing groups.
NDrive is flooded with features which is not possible for me to mention here, you can check all those features on iTunes. If you want to utilise your iPhone’s GPS Navigation capabilities, then NDrive is for you. NDrive is available for many countries like US, India, Mexico, Spain, Gulf countries and more.
